Supplier Diversity and Inclusion at Amazon
Our approach is the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day - to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, innovate, and invent and focus on delighting customers.

It’s always “Day 1"

Supplier Diversity is the intentional inclusion of businesses owned by an individual or group that is a member of a traditionally underrepresented or underutilized group.

As part of Amazon’s commitment to Supplier Diversity and Inclusion (SDI), we are pleased to offer a Supplier Diversity and Inclusion initiative for the purpose of providing opportunities to certain groups who are historically disadvantaged, underrepresented or marginalized in Canada.

Canada-based businesses third-party certified as diverse-owned by one of the following groups are recognized as part of our initiative: Women, persons identifying as 2SLGBTQI+, Aboriginal or Indigenous people (First Nations, Metis and/or Inuit), visible minorities, including non-white and non-Indigenous groups such as South Asian (e.g. East Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan), Chinese, Black, Filipino, Arab, Latin American, Southeast Asian (e.g. Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian, Thai), West Asian (e.g. Iranian, Afghan), Korean, Japanese and other visible minorities such as Pacific Islanders.
